Introduction

GOTECH Dijital Hizmetler Anonim Şirketi (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”) provides Soniva Music (the “App”), an AI-powered music-creation application that includes the AI Cover voice-modelling feature. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and retain information about you when you use the App.

This Privacy Policy is part of, and is incorporated by reference into, our Terms and Conditions.

Information We Collect

Personal Information. Information you provide directly to us, including your name and email address when you contact us or use account-based features.

Payment Information. Premium-feature purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, who hold your payment details under their own terms. We do not directly collect or store your payment-card, banking, or billing details. We receive only an Apple or Google receipt or transaction identifier so we can match the purchase to your account.

Usage Data. Information about your interactions with the App, including the content you create, the features you use, and your preferences.

Device Information. Information about the device you use to access the App, including hardware model, operating-system version, and unique device identifiers.

Voice Data (AI Cover). When you use AI Cover, we process the voice recording you provide to create or update your voice model. We also process the voice model, related technical data, outputs generated using the voice model, and related activity logs. Voice Data is handled separately in the “Voice Data (AI Cover)” section below.

How We Use Your Information

We use information for the following purposes:

to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the App and its features;
to process your transactions and manage your subscriptions;
to communicate with you, including service messages and, where you have not opted out, promotional materials;
to personalise your experience and provide content recommendations;
to train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve artificial-intelligence models that we or our providers may use, where such training uses data that has been anonymised, aggregated, or otherwise transformed so that it no longer identifies you (voice-data handling is described separately below);
to develop new products, features, and services;
to prevent and detect fraud, abuse, multi-accounting, security incidents, and other misuse, and to enforce our Terms;
to comply with applicable law, respond to legal requests, and exercise or defend legal claims; and
to pursue our legitimate interests in operating, securing, developing, and commercialising the App, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Voice Data (AI Cover)

This section applies when you use AI Cover. It adds to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

What we collect. When you use AI Cover, we process the voice recording you provide, whether recorded in the App or uploaded, to create or update your voice model. The original recording may be processed on our systems or providers’ systems for that purpose, but we do not retain it on our systems by default after the voice model has been created or updated, except as described under “How long we keep it” below. We may retain the voice model and related technical data derived from the recording, outputs generated using the model, and related activity logs as described below. We call the recording and these derived materials together “Voice Data,” whether or not a given item is retained on our systems.

How we treat Voice Data. We do not use it to identify or authenticate you or anyone else. Depending on where you live, Voice Data may be treated as sensitive personal data, or special-category data under laws including the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act, and the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act.

Why we process it. We process Voice Data to create your voice model, to generate the outputs you request, to operate and secure the feature, to prevent and investigate misuse, to handle reports and disputes, and to comply with applicable law.

Our legal basis. Where applicable law treats Voice Data as biometric data, sensitive personal data, or special-category data and requires consent or another specific condition, we rely on the explicit consent, where required, that you give when you agree to the AI Cover terms and elect to use the feature, or another basis permitted by that law. You may withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your voice model; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. For related processing that is not subject to that requirement, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and developing the feature, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Providers who process Voice Data. Voice Data may be processed on our own systems or by third-party providers selected by us to host, process, or create voice models on our behalf, depending on the feature and operational arrangement. Any third-party provider we use processes Voice Data for the purposes set out in our contract with that provider. Our arrangements with these providers are consistent with this Policy and applicable law. We do not currently use Voice Data to train Soniva’s general-purpose models. Provider arrangements and practices may change, subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We do not sell Voice Data, and we do not use it for advertising. We also do not sell, lease, trade, or use biometric identifiers or biometric information derived from Voice Data as a standalone commercial asset.

Where it is processed. Our providers may store and process Voice Data in countries outside your own, including outside the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Türkiye, where data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Whose voice it may be. AI Cover is for users aged 18 or over, and you may use it only with your own voice. You may not create a voice model from anyone else’s voice. If you believe a voice model has been created from your voice without your involvement, contact us at contact@sonivamusic.com.

How long we keep it. We generally retain original voice recordings only as long as needed to create or update your voice model. We delete your voice model and biometric identifiers derived from voice recordings, such as voiceprints and voice embeddings, when the initial purpose for collecting or obtaining them has been satisfied, or no later than three (3) years from your last interaction with the App, whichever occurs first, except where retention is permitted or required by applicable law. Operational deletion of retained Voice Data following your deletion request or account closure may take up to 30 days, unless applicable law requires a shorter period. This does not require us to delete generated outputs, activity logs, reports, enforcement records, or anonymised data except where applicable law requires. We may keep certain data longer — including, where relevant, the original voice recording — where needed to complete a request, comply with applicable law, resolve a dispute, handle a report, enforce our Terms, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain safety or security, or manage transient processing, retries, or provider handoff. For example, we may retain a limited record of a removed voice model and any related reports.

Your choices and deletion. You can delete your voice model by contacting us at contact@sonivamusic.com. You can also ask us to access or delete your Voice Data, or to exercise other rights you may have, through our Data Subject Application Form or by contacting us at the same address. Which rights you have, and their limits, depend on where you live.

New uses. We may use Voice Data for additional purposes where permitted by this Privacy Policy or applicable law. Where applicable law requires notice or consent for a materially new purpose, that notice or consent may be handled through the App, this Privacy Policy, or another appropriate channel.

Minors. AI Cover is not for anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected Voice Data from a user under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Service Providers. We share information with third-party providers who perform services on our behalf, including hosting, AI processing (see “Voice Data” above for AI-Cover-specific arrangements), analytics, fraud prevention, and customer support. Their use of information is governed by the contractual and operational arrangements applicable to the relevant service. Such arrangements are intended to provide protections consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. Payment processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play directly under their own terms; we receive only a receipt or transaction identifier from them.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by applicable law or by a valid legal process, or is necessary to protect any person or the Company.
Business Transfers. Your information — and any rights and obligations connected with it — may be transferred or assigned in connection with a corporate transaction, including a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or part of the Company’s assets, without further notice or consent. Your information may also be shared as part of due-diligence activities relating to any of those transactions, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Anonymised Data. We may share anonymised, aggregated, or otherwise transformed data (data that no longer identifies you) with any party for any purpose, including research, benchmarking, model training, product development, and commercial arrangements. Once data is anonymised, it is no longer treated as your personal data under applicable data-protection law and may be retained, used, shared, or otherwise commercialised by us or any recipient indefinitely without further consent or notice.

We do not sell your individually identifiable personal data.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No system can be guaranteed to be fully secure; you provide information at your own risk.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights under applicable law:

to access the personal information we hold about you;
to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
to delete your personal information;
to object to, restrict, or withdraw consent for certain processing;
to port your information to another service;
to opt out of marketing communications.

Specific frameworks (including the EU and UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, and the Illinois BIPA) provide further rights and limits in those jurisdictions. To exercise any of your rights, submit a request using our Data Subject Application Form or contact us (see Contact Information). We may need to verify your identity before responding, and some rights are subject to legal limits.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the App and to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and for the periods required by applicable law (for example, tax, accounting, anti-fraud, and dispute-resolution purposes).

Even after you close your account or delete content, we may retain:

1. records of subscription, credit-usage, and Apple App Store or Google Play receipt identifiers, to prevent fraud, chargebacks, and abuse of free credits;
1. anonymised prompts, outputs, usage patterns, and derivatives, for the purposes described in “How We Use Your Information,” which may be retained indefinitely where not prohibited by applicable law;
1. records required to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, or law-enforcement obligations;
1. records related to fraud prevention, security, account enforcement, and dispute resolution.

Voice Data retention is described separately in the “Voice Data (AI Cover)” section above.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. AI Cover is further restricted to users aged 18 or over (see the “Voice Data (AI Cover)” section).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will signal a change by updating the “Last Updated” date and posting the revised Policy in the App or on the Company’s website. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
